Al Hazm Castle

The designer of this castle is Imam Sultan bin Saif al Yarubi. Al Yarubi tribe is most famously known for removing the Portuguese from Oman.

Wonders of Sur

During the 6th century, Sur was an established center for trade with East Africa. In the 16th century, it was under Portuguese rule but was liberated by the Omani imam Nassir ibn Murshid and underwent an economic revival, as a trade center with India and East Africa.

Misfat Al Abriyeen

The village boasts amazing agricultural terraces, beautiful alleys, and old houses built on top of solid rocks. The combination of these elements gives a visitor to Misfat Al Abriyeen a dramatic image from the viewing platform, which is a short walk from the entrance to the village.

Ras Al Jinz – Turtle Reserve

In Oman, the peak time for the turtles’ migration is between April and August of every year. Approximately 20,000 turtles come to some of Oman’s beaches, especially the eastern ones, to lay 50,000 to 60,000 eggs.
